The Gift guide

A token with something to give back.

From the first launch transaction to the moment a holder reveals a gift card: here’s how Gift works, what the numbers mean, and where Bitrefill fits in.

The idea

Gift puts holders at the center of the launch. A creator chooses a gift-card brand when launching a token. For example, a Netflix-themed token can carry Netflix gift cards as its holder reward. Trading activity builds a reward pool; eligible holders claim from that pool when it unlocks.

Launch

Choose a token and a reward brand.

Grow

Trade on the Pump.fun bonding curve.

Claim

Eligible holders request a real gift card.

Launch & trade

Connect Phantom or Solflare, enter your coin’s details, select a gift-card reward, and pay the displayed launch fee in SOL. Gift checks the payment on Solana before creating the coin through Pump.fun. The platform-controlled wallet signs the creation transaction as the on-chain creator; the launching user does not receive control of that wallet or its creator rewards.

Buying and selling use Pump.fun’s bonding curve. Trades are signed by the trader’s wallet and confirmed on Solana. When Pump.fun reports that its curve is complete, Gift marks the token as graduated; the liquidity migration is handled by Pump.fun’s own process, not by a separate Gift pool.

Launch and trade transactions can fail or take time during network congestion. A paid launch that fails is not automatically refunded; keep the payment signature if that happens.

Holder rewards

A configurable share of the token’s tracked trading-fee estimate forms its gift-card budget, converted to USD using the current SOL price. Rewards unlock at graduation or after a configured fee threshold, depending on platform settings. The reward is not automatically sent to every wallet.

Hold first

Hold at least $30 of the token for 30 minutes. Claims open before graduation, and longer holders (2h, 6h, 24h) receive larger cards.

Claim once

Sign a wallet message to claim. Each wallet can claim one gift card per token, subject to the remaining budget.

Claims draw from a limited pool, so they are first-come, first-served. A matching gift-card denomination must fit the available budget; a token launch or graduation alone does not guarantee a gift card. Your wallet signs another message to reveal the code or redemption link once the order is delivered.

How Bitrefill fits in

Gift uses Bitrefill’s v2 API to discover gift-card products and fulfill claimed rewards. The catalog is synced in batches, including available denominations, stock and region information; it is not a promise that every listed product remains available at the moment of purchase. Browse the gift-card catalog before choosing your token’s reward.

  1. 01A qualifying claim selects a supported denomination within the token’s remaining reward budget.
  2. 02Gift’s server creates an invoice through Bitrefill and requests payment from Gift’s pre-funded Bitrefill balance.
  3. 03Gift checks the invoice and order through Bitrefill, then stores the redemption details privately. A notification from Bitrefill only prompts a fresh check; it is never treated as proof of delivery.
  4. 04The holder signs with the claiming wallet to reveal the code, link, or PIN on their rewards page.

Requests to Bitrefill authenticate server-side with a private API key using Bearer authentication. The key and redemption codes are never exposed in the public catalog. Processing can be delayed by stock changes, insufficient Bitrefill balance, provider review, or outages; pending orders use increasing retry intervals when processing runs.

Fees & transparency

The launch fee is shown in SOL before you approve it. Token pages show tracked trade volume, estimated creator fees, the gift-card reward budget, and gift-card spend. Gift records launch payments, tracked trade-fee estimates and gift-card purchases separately.

Trade-fee figures are calculated from trades placed and recorded through Gift using the configured estimate; they are not an on-chain reconciliation of all Pump.fun creator rewards, and trades made outside Gift may not be counted. SOL-to-USD values move with market prices. The displayed budget is an estimate, not a guarantee of redemption value or an automatic distribution.

Security & limitations

Gift checks the launch payment and signed trade on-chain. Claiming checks a wallet signature, its token balance, its minimum hold time and prior claims; revealing a code requires another signature from the same claiming wallet. Redemption details are not publicly readable.

  • Gift cards depend on the selected brand’s region, stock, available denomination, and terms of use.
  • Holding a token or paying a launch fee does not guarantee a reward, profit, or token graduation.
  • Gift does not control Pump.fun’s curve, migration timing, or external network availability.
  • The minimum hold check uses recent on-chain token-account activity; unusual account histories can affect eligibility.
